Safety and compliance software that works for your people, not the other way around.
MiSAFE QHSE is one connected safety, quality and environmental management system for Australian schools, early learning services and businesses. It comes with 59 registers, 75 forms and 105 checklists across seven work areas, built on a Risk Library that feeds the whole system. The software drafts, checks and chases. Your people make the decisions. And the consultants who built it set it up with you.
Most QHSE software gives people more to do. MiSAFE QHSE is designed so people do less admin, the system does more, and everyone gets more done in the job they were hired for.
Say it once, in plain words
Describe an incident or hazard and the form fills itself: the people, the place, the injury and the kind of incident.
The right form finds you
Scan the QR code on a ladder, forklift or first aid kit and the right checklist opens with the item already filled in.
Start from what you already know
Risk assessments and excursions start from your own approved Risk Library, never a blank page.
The fix arrives with the gap
Compliance gaps come with the work already prepared. Review it, approve it and tell the right people.
Nothing to remember
Expiries, SDS currency, services due and training due are watched, and the right person is told in time.
Enter it once, use it everywhere
People, sites and records are shared, so one change shows on every register, dashboard and heat map it affects.
Learning that sticks
Inductions coach people through every wrong answer until they understand why the right one matters.
Only what you need to see
Workers see their own tasks on their phone. Administrators see the whole picture.
Explore the system
One menu. Everything in its place.
This is the menu your people see, trimmed to what their role allows. Press any item, or open a work area to see the hubs inside it. Everything changes right here on the page.

The foundation
A Risk Library that feeds the whole system, and learns as you use it.
Your tasks, hazards, risks and specific controls live in one library. Everything that needs a risk starts from it, and every approval feeds it, so it gets better the more your people use the system.
The same approvals also feed the Legal and Compliance Register, so the obligations behind every approved document are captured without anyone retyping them.

Every risk is scored on your own 5×5 matrix. The score and level fill in automatically on risk and hazard forms, and administrators set the band thresholds for the account.

Live compliance readiness
Your compliance, monitored live and ready for the auditor.
MiSAFE QHSE checks your documents, registers and records against the frameworks you answer to, as they come in. You can see how ready you are for NSSAB accreditation, a child safety audit or ISO certification today, not the week before the auditor arrives.
Your organisation, sites and the documents you already have, brought in five at a time.

5
Improve
An improvement plan, reviews and a watch on changes to the law.
A cycle, not a one-off: improvements, reviews and changes to the law feed back into Analyse. A documented system counts as in place when its document is approved, covers every campus or site it applies to and is not past its review.

Roles and security
The right access for every person, and every change on the record.
Every person starts from a role, and an administrator can fine-tune it for that one person. Records are versioned and archived, never quietly deleted.
Basic
The worker app. Their own records and blank forms to submit. No company registers or dashboards.
Reviewer
Sees all records and dashboards, and adds notes. Cannot change submitted data.
Editor
Edits records, builds forms and pages, and drafts documents.
Administrator
Full control of the account: approvals, users, settings and alerts.
Permissions per person
Every person starts from a role template. An administrator can add or remove view, create, edit, review, approve, close, export and configure rights for that one person in each module, and save templates such as Facilities Manager or Head of Department.
Approval limits and qualifications
Approvers have a highest risk rating and, where money is involved, a dollar limit, and anything above it goes up the line. Rights that need a qualification, such as leading an investigation, lapse when it expires.
Confidential records
Child safety, injury and health, performance and disciplinary, and privileged investigation records are open only to named people, and every view is logged.
Two-step sign-in
A code from an authenticator app after the password, sessions that time out, and a phone app that locks and opens with a PIN. Presenting mode turns names into initials on screen.
Versioned, logged and reviewed
Edits are versioned, records are archived with a reason rather than deleted, every permission change carries its reason, and access is reviewed each term.
Your account, kept separate
Each organisation’s data, users and settings are isolated. Information leaves only with approval from authorised people, and MiSAFE support gets in only with your approval.
Security is aligned with SOC 2, the ACSC Essential Eight and ISO/IEC 27001, and AI is built in but contained within your account, behind fixed rules it cannot change. Your account is hosted in Australia and encrypted in transit and at rest. Trust and security · How we use AI

CRM and sales pipeline
Leads, clients and opportunities beside the projects they turn into.
AI assurance and monitoring

MiSAFE QHSE is Australian safety, quality and compliance software built to work for you, not the other way around. It brings incidents, risk assessments, excursions, training, recruitment and people, contractors, chemicals, plant and a maintenance help desk, projects, emergency management and compliance into one system that carries the admin, while your people approve everything that matters. The Queensland QHSE consultants who built it set it up with you, and deliver audits, management systems and tenders when you need them.
Who builds and supports MiSAFE QHSE?
We do. MiSAFE QHSE was imagined, designed and built by MiSAFE, a Queensland QHSE consultancy with more than 25 years of experience across the team, and it is supported by the same consultants. When you need help, you talk to people who understand both the software and the WHS, quality and environmental requirements behind it.
How does MiSAFE QHSE use AI, and who stays in control?
AI is part of the system, not a bolt-on. It drafts documents, risk assessments, training and checklists, reads files you upload and prepares fixes for compliance gaps. It never runs the system: every draft is reviewed and approved by a person, and the AI is contained within your account.
Does MiSAFE QHSE keep us ready for audits and accreditation?
Yes. Systems & Compliance monitors your documents and records against the frameworks you choose, such as the Child Safe Standards, NSSAB, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001, or the NQS, and shows your readiness as records come in. Gaps come with the fix prepared, and readiness reports link to the evidence.
Can we upload an auditor’s checklist and send it back completed?
Yes. Upload the checklist in Word, Excel or PDF exactly as you received it. Each question is matched to its requirement and answered from your evidence, you fix what is not yet in place one by one, and the completed checklist is handed back in the auditor’s own file with every piece of evidence linked to a secure auditor portal. After the audit, findings become corrective actions with owners and due dates.
Does it include a help desk for maintenance requests?
Yes. Anyone can report something broken from the Help desk on the app, a QR code on a room or asset, by email or through MiCompanion. Three plain questions set the priority from P1 to P4, the Facilities Manager assigns it to staff or an approved contractor, contractors work the job from an emailed work order, and the person who reported it confirms it is fixed.
Can it run our projects and minor works?
Yes. Describe a small job once and it runs as minor works from the Risk Library. For a bigger project, add the files you have and MiSAFE builds the project, its Gantt programme and the requests for quotation. Quotes are evaluated after a conflict of interest declaration, correspondence emailed to the project inbox is filed against the right item, and the management plan and project report build themselves from the records.
Does it handle recruitment and onboarding?
Yes. The ad is drafted from the approved job description and published to your careers page and prepared for the job boards, with every applicant tracked by source. Interviews, reference checks and letters run from each applicant’s page, the offer is approved before it goes, and acceptance sends the registration link with the resume already on file.
Can we control exactly what each person can see and do?
Yes. Every person starts from a role template, and an administrator can add or remove any right for that one person in each module. Approvers have a highest risk rating and a dollar limit, rights that need a qualification lapse when it expires, and confidential records such as child safety, health and disciplinary matters are open only to named people, with every view logged.
How do workers use it?
On their phone. They scan a QR code to sign a SWMS, complete a pre-start or open a checklist, report a hazard or incident in their own words, and complete inductions with coaching. MiCompanion answers questions in plain language.
Is our data private to us?
Yes. Every account is kept separate, access is set for each person from role templates, sign-in takes two steps, edits are versioned and records are archived rather than deleted. AI is contained within your account, and nothing is shared outside it without authorised approval. Our security is aligned with SOC 2, the ACSC Essential Eight and ISO/IEC 27001. Your account is hosted in Australia and encrypted in transit and at rest, and our Trust and security page sets out every commitment we make about your data.
Where is our data hosted?
In Australia, and it stays here. Your account is encrypted in transit and at rest, kept separate from every other organisation and backed up at least daily, and you can export your records at any time. These commitments are written into your agreement with us, and our Trust and security page sets them all out.
Can we bring our existing documents?
Yes. Upload them five at a time and keep them as written, or have them tidied and renumbered to your convention. They go through review and approval like anything else.
Does it handle performance appraisals and performance management?
Yes. Reviews run on the cycle you choose, each person self-assesses on their phone against the standard items and the KPIs from their job description, the meeting notes become a drafted report the person acknowledges, and development actions go onto the training register. Performance concerns, warnings and grievances are kept apart as confidential cases with each meeting and the outcome.
What does the menu look like?
Home, the Risk Library and Registers at the top, then seven work areas (Operations & Safety, Quality & Projects, People & Competency, Assets & Environment, Consultation & Improvement, Emergency Management and Management System), each with its own hubs. Below them sit Monitor (dashboards, the QHSE Activity Calendar, Systems & Compliance, site access, reports and Creation Studio), Resources & help, and Manage.
Does it connect to our chemical system?
If you use Chemwatch or ChemAlert, you can connect your own account so MiSAFE QHSE checks for the latest SDS for each product.
